Eurythmie
Christa Kuehn fut la première eurythmiste à faire connaître l’eurythmie à Montréal, au Québec. Ayant grandi à Dornach, au temps où Rudolf Steiner était encore là, elle a fait sa formation d’eurythmie avec Lea van der Pals. Puis elle a émigré avec son mari au Canada, elle y a fondé sa famille et donné le jour à ses trois filles. Elle s’est engagée activement dans le Montreal Group de la Société Anthroposophique, offrant des cours d’eurythmie. Puis quand l’École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal a ouvert ses portes en 1980, elle y a apporté tout son soutien ainsi que, dix années plus tard, à l’Institut Rudolf Steiner dont elle deviendra la Présidente. Elle vit actuellement retirée chez l’une de ses filles à Vancouver, mais on ne pourra jamais oublier la contribution inestimable qu’elle a offerte au développement du mouvement anthroposophique, au développement du mouvement pédagogique Steiner-Waldorf au Québec.
Eurythmy
Christa Kuehn was the first eurythmist to introduce eurythmy in Montreal, Quebec. Growing up in Dornach, when Rudolf Steiner was still there, she did her eurythmy training with Lea van der Pals. Then she emigrated with her husband to Canada, where she founded her family and gave birth to her three daughters. She became actively involved in the Montreal Group of the Anthroposophical Society, offering eurythmy courses. Then when the Rudolf Steiner School in Montreal opened its doors in 1980, she gave her full support to it and, ten years later, to the Rudolf Steiner Institute, of which she became President. She is currently living in retirement with one of her daughters in Vancouver, but we can never forget the invaluable contribution she made to the development of the anthroposophical movement, to the development of the Steiner-Waldorf educational movement in Quebec.
