Originaire de France, établie en Californie depuis bien des années, Isabelle Tabacot a d’abord étudié la lutherie en Europe, puis elle a émigré aux États Unis et s’est dirigée vers l’éducation. Elle détient un baccalauréat en éducation de Union Institute and University de Cincinnati (Ohio) et un dipôme de Pédagogie Waldorf de Rudolf Steiner College (Californie). Elle a commencé comme professeur de classe à Cedar Springs Waldorf School (Californie) où elle a suivi sa classe jusqu’en 8è puis repris une autre classe en 4è. Elle est ensuite engagée par l’école Waldorf de Sacramento où elle vient de terminer sa nouvelle 8è classe. Elle enseigne également les études pédagogiques dans différents programmes de Rudolf Steiner College. Elle se passionne en particulier pour l’art, l’histoire, la géographie et la littérature. Ses deux enfants sont d’anciens élèves de l’École Waldorf.
Isabelle Tabacot: Teaching History and Geography

Originally from France, Isabelle Tabacot has been living in California for many years. She first studied violin making in Europe, then emigrated to the United States and went into education. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the Union Institute and University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Waldorf Pedagogy Diploma from Rudolf Steiner College, California. She began as a classroom teacher at Cedar Springs Waldorf School in California, where she taught her class until 8th grade and then moved on to another class in 8th grade. She was then hired by the Waldorf School in Sacramento where she just finished her new 8th grade. She also teaches pedagogical studies in various programs at Rudolf Steiner College. She is particularly passionate about art, history, geography and literature. Her two children are former students of the Waldorf School.
