Christof Wiechert a été élève à l’école Waldorf de La Haye, aux Pays-Bas. Après avoir étudié l’éducation et la géographie, il a enseigné pendant 30 ans à l’école Waldorf de La Haye. Pendant cette période, il a été co-fondateur du séminaire de formation des enseignants Waldorf reconnu par l’État néerlandais. Pendant de nombreuses années, il a été membre du Conseil de la Société anthroposophique des Pays-Bas.
Depuis septembre 1999, il travaille pour la Section Pédagogique de l’Université libre de Science de l’esprit du Goetheanum à Dornach, en Suisse; il en fut le responsable d’octobre 2001 à décembre 2010. À partir de son expérience de professeur de classe, il a développé avec son collègue Ate Koopmans un cours : The «Art of Child Study», l’art qui se doit d’être au cœur du conseil des professeurs. Cette expertise magnifique et si importante pour les enseignants, que Christof Wiechert a développée, il la partage à travers le monde en donnant conférences, ateliers professionnels et séminaires.

Christof Wiechert was a pupil at the Waldorf School in The Hague, in the Netherlands. After studying education and geography, he spent 30 years teaching at the Waldorf School in The Hague. During this time he was co-founder of the Waldorf Teacher Training Seminar recognized by the Dutch state. For many years he was a member of the Council of the Anthroposophical Society of the Netherlands.
Since September 1999 he has been working for the Pedagogical Section of the University of Spiritual Science at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland, and was responsible for it from October 2001 to December 2010. Based on his experience as a classroom teacher, he developed a course together with his colleague Ate Koopmans: The «Art of Child Study», the art that should be at the heart of the teachers’ council. This magnificent and so important expertise for teachers, which Christof Wiechert has developed, he shares it around the world by giving lectures, professional workshops and seminars.
