Président de la Fédération des Écoles Steiner-Waldorf de Suisse et du Lichtenstein, Responsable de la formation Pédagogique de Suisse Romande, Co-directeur du Forum International pour l’Éducation Steiner-Waldorf, Membre du Kuratorium de la Fondation pour l’édition de l’œuvre de Rudolf Steiner.
De par ses responsabilités en Suisse comme sur le plan international, Robert Thomas vient régulièrement contribuer à la formation des futurs enseignants en y apportant cette largeur de vue qui fait partie d’une véritable compréhension en profondeur de l’éducation Waldorf et de l’anthroposophie. Outre ces responsabilités qu’il assume avec respect et consécration eu égard Rudolf Steiner et son œuvre, il a été aussi pendant de nombreuses années professeur d’histoire et philosophie à l’École Rudolf Steiner de Zürich et conduit toujours une activité importante de conseiller pédagogique, de conférencier et d’auteur de publication pédagogique. Il est un grand support et ami du Québec où il revient depuis l’ouverture de l’École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal en 1980.

Because of his responsibilities in Switzerland as well as internationally, Robert Thomas regularly contributes to the training of future teachers by bringing that breadth of view, which is part of a true in-depth understanding of Waldorf education and anthroposophy. In addition to these responsibilities, which he assumes with respect and consecration for Rudolf Steiner and his work, he was also for many years Teacher of history and philosophy at the Rudolf Steiner School in Zurich and still carries out an important activity as a pedagogical advisor, lecturer and author of pedagogical publications. He is a great supporter and friend of Quebec, where he has been returning since the opening of the Rudolf Steiner School in Montreal in 1980.
